- I was saved when I was 8 and had deep roots in the Word of God and Church. As a teen, after moving from Dallas TX to Chatt TN, everything was changing; new friends, new church, from playing on an undefeated football team to sitting on the bleachers smoking cigarettes and hating life. I chose a path that seemed easy at the time. I chose to defy what I was in my soul. I chose rebellious friends, drugs, alcohol, and defiance of all authority, including God. It took over a decade of my life away. It took my money, my wife, time with my daughter, my faith, and almost my life. I spent time in jail, spent time without a home, and even had a suicide attempt turn into an experience with what many call an angel. I now know that God is alive. I know Him. He alone saved me. He restored me. I have great value to Him. I have been in a Christian band that has toured the country and led hundreds to Him. I’ve been granted opportunities to speak to hundreds as well. He trusted me with another wife and restored my relationship with my daughter and even her mother. GOD is GOD!
